Ring Workshops
Ring workshops for mothers/daughters or couples wanting to make commitment bands/wedding rings.
Come enjoy a fun filled afternoon at the studio with one on one instruction with Jessica Weiss (a professional jewelry designer/ maker). We’ll spend the day forming bonds and learning new skills by working together to make your rings. You will take them home that day!
What styles are available?
- Think timeless, minimal, and classic styled bands
- You can texture with hammering and other tools in the studio
- Finishes include polished, brushed, or a matte surface (your metal choice will help dictate which will look the best)
- If desired, we will use a hand engraver to inscribe your personal message

- 14k yellow or white gold
- 18k yellow or white gold
- 22k yellow gold
- Sterling silver
- Platinum is unavailable
Cost?
- Workshop fee of $700
- Ring fee (prices vary)
What is included in the workshop fee?
- A consultation to find out your goals and get the appropriate ring sizes
- A full day of one-on-one instruction with Jessica Weiss. The studio will be closed to the public during your class
- Lunch from a local restaurant
- A bottle of bubbly to either take home or celebrate at the end of the class
Available time slots?
- Classes will be held on Saturdays only.
- Plan for a 6-7 hr day
Ring Fee?
- Cost of this will vary based on many choices:
- Metal choice
- Ring size
- Width of band
- Thickness of band
- Shape of ring stock
- Current market prices
- All of these variables make it difficult to give a ballpark quote over the phone but on average, a pair of 14k bands should cost between $1400- $2400. Please note that this can vary widely depending on your choices. A wide ring on a wide finger will cost much more than a dainty ring on a slender finger. Sterling bands will have a flat fee of $500 for both.
Can stones be added to the rings?
- Absolutely! This is not something we will teach but for an added fee, we will do this for you.

How do I get started?
- After reading through the process, please fill out the ring workshop inquiry form and we will get back to you with time slots available!
- Studio payment is due at the time of booking. If you do not show up for your scheduled date, there will be no refunds or rescheduling. If you need to reschedule your class time, please give us at least two weeks and we will get you rebooked.
