As always, I went to the Tucson Gem Show this year. I never know what I’m going to fall in love with and this year, this gorgeous agate stole my heart. The little “plants” in the stone are mineral deposits that create the most beautiful landscapes. On top of that, I veered away from my naturally dainty style. This is a large piece measuring 2.5” across and 2” tall. I’ve wrapped it in 22k gold and set it on top of oxidized sterling. Lastly, I created an oxidized chain for it (length is right around 17”) and a hook and eye clasp.
